I look forward to seeing it. I have a feeling I’ll be able to relate quite a bit. Being a kid is hard, especially being a “weirdo” in a town like this.

I INSIST you watch this if you are a music fan, whoever you may be. Not that you’ll care so much about the music necessarily, but this is a great glimpse at where I’m from.

My dear friend and long time bandmate Sioux City Pete played a show last night to kick off his tour to support the release of his new solo album, Genocide Blues, out now on vinyl or digital download. This man puts on a show that will rattle your teeth and shake you down deep. Last night ranked among the most potent musical performances I have ever witnessed. Amanda Prince, his long time lover and heavy sister of mine did the haunting reading about Clint Didier at the beginning of this recording. I highly recommend checking out all the tracks.

I also recommend listening to this on his actual bandcamp page. Meditating on the photo of Didier he has up while listening to this really brings it all home.
